Week 17

 Week 17 – Friday 5th January 2018

Happy New Year to Everyone and Welcome back to Term 2!

That was a lovely Christmas break – I hope you had a most enjoyable time with your loved ones and that you took the time to relax, recharge and re-energise - all for another exciting Term ahead.

There certainly wasn’t time to waste as it was straight away into revision yesterday for GCSE Modules which started today – LLW, and then a series of Maths and English modules next week.

Year 13 listened to an excellent presentation ‘Young Driver NI’ re driving responsibly and referring to speed limits, seatbelts, mobile phones etc.  It was hard hitting and I know the students will have taken the messages on board, now that many of them are applying for their provisional licences.  Drive carefully and sensibly boys and girls!

You will have noticed that our website is currently under construction at present – this is done on annual basis, simply to refresh and revamp it.

This month is an extremely busy one in promoting the College re Primary Taster Days and Open Evening, never mind the business of learning and teaching, and a wealth of other activities planned throughout the year.

Like every day and every week, the Term will move along quite quickly, so continue to keep updated on our website and by reading my weekly Blog, to give you an insight into all that is happening over the coming weeks and months.

Talk to you all next week
