LEARNING RESOURCE CENTRE
Holy Trinity College has a large, bright and airy Learning Resource Centre which is centrally located on the first floor. It is easily accessible to pupils and staff and provides a welcoming and comfortable environment in which to read, do research or use the laptops.
Any pupil may use the LRC when it is open, but at Break and Lunch times, only the designated Year Groups may use the laptops at the specified times.

LRC Aims

To provide and maintain a range of resources, which support learning and literacy.

To promote reading for pleasure and encourage a positive attitude towards books and reading.

To create a stimulating, supportive and welcoming environment, which is conducive to independent research, individual reading or group work.

To create and foster independent and confident LRC users and information handlers.

To support and promote the use of ICT as a research tool.

To support staff in the delivery of the curriculum.

Approximately 7,000 non-fiction books on a wide variety of educational and recreational topics.

Over 3,000 fiction titles, including the latest best sellers and popular authors.

A comprehensive reference section, with encyclopaedias, dictionaries and atlases.

20 networked laptops, which are linked to a colour printer.

DVDs and audio books relating to popular fiction titles.

A range of periodicals aimed at the 6th form -

Access to the library catalogue is available through My School. Simply log into My School, go to view all, hit the tab for online learning and then launch the library app.
